Being out of state and working with the Curran's was super easy! Constant contact and pictures when requested during the first eight weeks before we picked up Roger. Roger's disposition is amazing and most people can't believe how good he is being under a year old! He is easy to train, and we would definitely consider another dog from Norther Retrievers because we have such a great dog and the experience was easy. They felt like family.

We can't say enough about how much we appreciate getting one of Daisy's baby boys. Gus has been a great addition to our family, as his personality is priceless! He is a mini-me to Daisy in both size and color, furthermore he is always so eager to please and is always looking to give us hugs. 2 weeks before Christmas our dog passed away. She was around for all the big events in our lives, when I bought my 1st house, when I married my wife and when my daughters were born. She was always there for us. I knew she would be irreplaceable. My oldest daughter was devastated. She cried herself to sleep for months missing her best friend. My wife convinced me we needed to get a new dog. She missed her sense of safety and my girls missed their best friend. After some major convincing, I agreed. That’s when we found the post about Daisy and her upcoming puppies. We had it all planned out, we got on the list for a female and from then on we couldn’t wait. The day Daisy started having our puppies we were so excited! However after a few hours we had gotten word that our female hadn’t made it. My wife was scrambling to find a replacement in case Daisy was done having her litter. We could not let our girls down after they were so excited to get a new puppy! She already had a name, she was apart of our family before she was even born! A few hours later we got the miracle message saying Daisy ended up having one more female and she was doing great! Our prayers had been answered! Fast forward a year later, our miracle puppy, Bella is nothing short of amazing! She has far exceeded our expectations. Along with being the most calm mannered dog, she’s amazing with our kids! Not to mention the outdoor instincts this dog has blows my mind. She has shown interest in tracking from early on. I can without a doubt she has become the best pheasant dog I’ve ever had! I’m really looking forward to all the things we can now do in the outdoors together. Our next adventure will be deer antler shed hunting. I cannot thank Morgan and her husband Jeremy enough for the perfect addition to our family. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a new canine!

Working with the Curran’s was very easy from day one. Morgan was excellent at communicating with us, sending updates and answering all of our many questions. Once the puppies were born I received several pictures and video updates. Since we lived 3 hours apart we arranged a FaceTime call with Morgan and Jeremy to see the puppies and ask questions which helped us learn the puppy’s temperaments. On puppy pick up day Morgan and Jeremy were both so friendly and helpful. Ultimately Winnie chose us!! We couldn’t be happier with Winnie. We believe she was a gift from God. Everything from the timing, communication, correct number of puppies, her choosing us and the friendship we have created with the Curran’s is nothing short of divine intervention. Winnie has blended into our family so seamlessly it is hard to remember what it was like before we got her. She was (and still is) an excellent puppy, very easy to train, extremely smart and shows amazing hunting instincts. She is extremely intelligent and driven, but also has a great “off switch” in the house. We are hoping to get another lab from Northern Retrievers in the future.
